Lynchburg Rangers (1975), Carolina League, A

The team was called the Rangers, but it combined players from the Texas Rangers and Atlanta Braves systems. Each system had different expectations, and further, some of the players didn't want to be told how to play ball and didn't want to follow the rules off the field, either. The team ended up fourth in both halves, but it was a frustrating year. The Rangers severed their relationship with the Lynchburg team after that season.
