Buffalo (1968), AAA, International League
The Bisons played day games at War Memorial Stadium, where the field was bad and the locker room, used by the Buffalo Bills, was worse.
Few people went into the neighborhood of the stadium at night, so night games were moved to Niagara Falls.
When some fans got mugged in the restrooms one day, day games moved to Niagara Falls as well.
Outfielder Brant Alyea got off to a torrid start with his hitting; he told the writers it was because he ate a lot of honey. When his streak
cooled down, so did the entire team, and they ended the season 66-81.
