Saints photo montage Besides coaching, Twig was an ambassador for baseball in the community. At the end of the 2002 season, the Saints retired his #5 and named their MVP award for him. Since he was headed for Texas, they gave him cowboy boots, a 10-gallon hat and an engraved belt buckle. The day of his final game was designated Wayne Terwilliger Day in St. Paul. They also created the photo montage shown here; click on it for more information.
